Do you know sage has a long history of medicinal and culinary use? You can also use it as a garden repeller, household cleaner, food ingredient, or even healing oil. Today, we would like to share 2 simple, quick and budget-friendly DIY that using sage.


Homemade Cleaning with Sage Infused Vinegar

Cleaning with a solution of equal parts white distilled vinegar and water is by far one of the most effective ways to clean, not to mention one of the safest for your health, your family’s, and yes even the environment.

Add the power of herbs, and you have one super cleaning solution, In this case, a natural and powerful anti-bacterial spray.

Sage has been tested to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties against E.coli, Salmonella typhi, and Candida albicans, among many other microorganisms. 

Sage Vinegar Cleaning Spray Method
With your hands twist the sage, like wringing wet clothing, until very fragrant. Place in a glass container along with the 2 cups of white distilled vinegar and let it infused for a minimum of two weeks. 


Sage Vinegar Cleaning Spray Usage 
Using a spray bottle, equal parts sage-infused vinegar and water, spray any surface and wipe using a cloth rag. 

Relaxing Sage and Lavender Bath Salts

This relaxing beauty product is as simple as mixing all of the ingredients together and packaging them in a decorative jar.

Ingredients:
1 cup Epsom salts 
1/2 cup dead sea salt or sea salt 
2 tablespoons moisturizing oil 
10 drops sage or clary sage essential oil 
1 tablespoon  dried lavender flowers 
Decorative jar with a tight-fitting lid (Mason Jar)

Directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and 
mix your newly formed bath salts with a spoon or with your hands.

2. Allow the bath salts to dry before placing them in the jar to avoid wet clumps.

3. To personalize this mixture, make a fun and decorative label educating your friend or family member about the botanical benefits present in their brand new bath salts. In this particular blend, sage essential oil is a cheerful, warming herb known to soothe the body. Dried lavender, a widely known stress reliever.
